EQUULEUS contemporary dance performance trailer: http://vimeo.com/109496797
Equuleus is a very rare species which is not often seen in civilized communities. It is very shy but can, when needed, burst into song.
The most individuals seen in Europe have swam from Atlantis during their yearly wandering. The nests of equuleus are in small islands where they usually are made in trees, sometimes also on the ground. Note! when you are lucky enough to meet one of these rare individuals you can observe it without fear. They never come more than 3 meters away from humans.
Choreographer Favela Vera Ortiz is investigating a character partly human, but mostly animal, interpreted by the dancer Veera Suvalo Grimberg. The music is composed for the performance by Berith Stennabb who is also responsable of the unique costume design.
